Some questions that you need to ask yourself

Most of the people whom I come across are not completely healthy. They suffer from all kinds of sickness and pains.
Basically it is difficult to have a perfect healthy body. To balance the four elements of our body needs a lot of wisdom and medical knowledge. The younger ones suffer from all kinds of headaches, pains in muscles and bones. The older ones have too much water retention causing them pain in their legs. The most common sicknesses are, heart problem, heart attack or failures, kidney problems, hardness of liver, high blood pressure and all sorts of cancers. Even some doctors die much younger even though they have a better knowledge of using medicines.

Some put the blame on karma. Some said that they die because of their genes or DNA.

But none of them put the blame on themselves. Some of the questions you need to ask yourselves.
Physical Level
1. Have you got regular meal with a balance of diet?
2. How many times do you do exercises to swear out your toxins?
3. Do you sleep at proper time or do you have enough of rest?
4. Are you a alcoholic or drug addict?

Emotional level
1. Do you fill with hatred?
2. Are you jealous of all sorts of matter?
3. Do you seclude yourselves and unfriendly to others?
4. Do you gossip and say bad about others?
5. Do you have fear most of time? Afraid of loosing your job or your boy friend or girl friend?

Mental level
1. Do you have inferior or superior complex?
2. Do you scheme to move up your social or job level to get rid of your superior?
3. Do you over budget of purchasing house, car and expensive items?
4. Do you need to pay up all kinds of loans every month?

大多数我接触过的人都不是完全健康的，他们都承受着不同的疾病与疼痛的辛苦。
基本上，人是很难拥有完全健康的身体。 要平衡我们体内的四大需要很多的智慧与医学知识。 年轻人常患有各种头疼，肌肉骨节酸痛。 年长者则太多水液内停，而使他们双脚酸痛。 最常见的疾病是心脏病，心肌梗塞或心脏衰歇，肾脏病，肝硬化，高血压及各种癌症。 即便一些医生有较丰富的医学知识，也英年早逝。

有些将它怪罪于因果。 一些则说死因与他们的基因有关。

但没有人怪罪于自己。
有些问题你需要问问自己。
在生理的层面上：
1。你有规律及均衡的饮食吗？
2。你有多少次通过运动排毒呢？
3。你有准时卧寝或足够的休息吗？
4。你有酗酒或嗑药吗？

情绪层面上：
1。你有怨恨吗？
2。你有嫉妒别人的心态吗？
3。你有将自己隔离或对朋友不友善吗？
4。你有八卦或说是非吗？
5。你时常处在恐惧中吗？ 害怕失去工作、男友或女友？

精神层面上：
1。你有自卑还是自负的性格吗？
2。你有想在社会上攀高的企图心或取代上司的心态吗？
3。你有过度挥霍于购买房子，汽车或昂贵物品吗？
4。你需要每个月还很多的债务吗？

I am pretty simple: all the things you listed above . I always have headache since teenage due to not sleeping well; my aches change from time to time since some auto accidents back then, but I don’t let it sit there, I do exercises

I totally aware of what’s going on. Yes, some blame on karma or genes (ex all my siblings have HBP/cholesterol/thyroid/botherline diabetes ), so far I don’t take any prescription on these, I was told that I got all the good genes…maybe or maybe not… However, I also believe that all things come with a price, there is a matter of take and give. If you take something (or gifts) and don’t put it in good use or abuse it, you will lose it eventually.
Nothing is granted or guarantee. Our bodies just like your car, if you want it to run with you longer: you need to provide proper care, regularly inspection, routine checkups and maintenance, cleaning, repairs…

Those are the questions all doctors should ask prior to any physical exam. And so few do.

There is no mistake made by our own karma

Our karmic link has brought us together to share our knowing and happiness.
Our own karmic force always leads us to correct ourselves in many ways by providing us with so much problems, troubles and sicknesses.

Our life pattern is like a sea waves moving up and down deprived us of our awareness.
We are caught most of the time in a situation which gives us sadness and pains.
Sometimes we can manage it but sometimes we feel like giving up our life like those who have cancers or living in a hopeless situation.

One of my friends who was too poor, many years ago, to pay the water bill had the household tap cut off by the the authority.
He had to bring his children to the swimming pool to bathe.
Some of my friends during recession time, had their electricity cut off by the authority.
So they had to use candles in the night.

I advised them to stay cool.
At the end of the dark tunnel, the light is always there waiting for them.
There is no mistake made by our own karma.

Do good, act good and speak good.
Your negative karma will shy away.
Tomorrow will always better than yesterday.

業力因緣把我們大家聯系起來，才可以分享知識和開心的事情。
而自身的業力，則會以很多的難題、麻煩和病痛來引領我們，從多方面自我改進。

我們的生活習慣就如同海浪的起伏不定一樣，遮掩了內在的覺性。
很多時候，我們都處於悲傷和痛苦的狀態中。
有時候可以克服處境，但遇到癌症或一些以為沒有希望的處境時，就會想到放棄自己的生命。

很多年前，一位友人就因為太窮而沒交水費，被有關部門切斷供水。
他只好帶孩子們去泳池洗澡。
另外一些朋友在經濟蕭條時，因無錢支付而被有關部門切斷電力供應。
只好在晚上點蠟燭取光。

我建議他們保持冷靜。
在黑暗隧道的盡頭，希望之光永遠都在等侍大家。
業力因果是不會出差錯的。

所以要常常做好人、做好事、説好話。
這樣，不好的業力因果就會遠離我們。
一天比一天好起來。

Why we come to this present world ?

人來到這個世界上，絕大多數都是隨業漂流，像在夢中一樣；唯有靠願力的引導，才能讓自己逆流而上。

Most of us who come to this present world is due to our karmic consequences and hence we are like duckweeds drifting and floating according to the flow of a river.

We can also say we are in our dreams most of the time.

If our vow to leave this samsara world is strong enough, we can swim upstream against the currents of the river.

Marriage relationship

I was asked to write a topic on marriage relationship.
First I must admit I am not an expert in this area.
Many of you can join me or contribute your valuable opinions.

I would like to touch on the karmic point of view first.
Lord Buddha had explained that we had been here more than a million times.
If we gathered our bones together, we can pile them up as high as the present Himalayan Mountain.
That means to say we had married with different persons for many life times.

The Taoist master used to say for a couple to sleep on the same bed, it took them a thousand years of good relationship.
It means to say that the chance of getting marriage is not that easy.
Karmic affinity is something that is beyond our mind or thinking.

When we look at the world today, we discover that the rate of getting divorce is very high.
We can only look at a little aspect of saying that one is coming here to pay debt and the other is to collect the debt.
When the payment is settled, they will break off naturally.

However, our Chinese culture has a good way of prolonging the relationship.
We believe husband and wife must treat each other like a guest politely.
We should focus more of the upbringing of good next generation.
By doing so, we need to bear or accept each other shortcomings.

We need to discuss the important family issues and come to a compromise or a better outcome. In this way the tie to get together will gather strength as we grow older.
This will help both parties to live a happier and everlasting life together.

有人提议我写对婚姻关系的看法。
其实我不是这方面的专家。恳請大家也参与提出你们的意见。

首先我想从因果关系的角度解答这个问题。
佛陀曾经解释我们来回这个世间已经不止百万次了。 若我们把骨头堆集起来，它会有喜马拉雅山那么高。
这意味着我们好多世曾经与不同人结过婚。

道家师父曾說能做同寐共枕的夫妻，是因为千年的善缘而生。 也就是说结婚的因缘来得不容易。
因果关系是超出我们的思维和想象。

看看現在社会的婚姻状况，离婚率很高。
从狭义上来解释夫妻来此世是为了还债和索債。 当债还清了他们就会自然分手。

而我们华人传统却很重視延续婚姻关系。 我们相信夫妻要以礼相待如宾客。 並且注力于培育下一代。 因此我们要能忍耐或接受对方的缺点。

对家里的事項通过商討和互相迁就，来达成更好的结局。 这样夫妻的关系随着年龄增长会越来越牢固。 並能扶持对方，过着快乐生活白头到老。

A single thought of kindness

如果安住清净自性，哪怕只是生起一念之善，也將滅除恆河沙數的悪因。

If we can remain in our clean and still self nature, even with a single thought of kindness, we can get rid the causes of our negative karma that which are as numerous as the sand in the Ganges river of India.

Going through the journey of life we encounter numerous karmic affinity.

We have to give and take whether it is a karmic good fortune or drastic disasters.

With a motivation of good faith we derive at a spiritual moment of realisation and enlightenment.

Distracted thoughts and karmic manifestations

The distracted running thoughts dancing in the mind.
The karmic manifestations occur in the dance.

妄念飛舞在心中
業力变化在其间

Only Dharma can guide you cross the burning fire of Hell

Everything is in the mind.
If you are honest and kind, you actually comprise the whole world.

The heart contains both the good and evil.
It depends whether you wish to uproot the evil and remain good.

You have a choice.
But your karma or conscience will decide where you go to in the next rebirth.
Only the Dharma that you have practiced diligently will guide you to cross the burning fire of Hell.

所有的一切都在你脑子里。
若你拥有一颗真诚与善良的心，就等同于你拥有全世界。

一颗心具有善的一面也同时有邪恶的一面。
就看你是否愿意将邪恶的一面铲除并将善良保留下来。

选择在于你。
但你的因果及良心，将决定你下一世往哪里投胎。
只有勤习佛法能接引你度过地狱之火。

When to come home ?

處處为家能安乐
妙想天开尋烦惱
燕子也懂歸家院
眾生了因回佛門

Be happy and contented wherever you are.
Creating a new world causes much heartaches.
The swallow knows when to come home.
Knowing your karma the best place to go back is the Buddha’s home.

The fruit of karma can occur instantly

What ever moment you are in, you plant your seeds of good or bad the way you conduct yourself in speech, thought and action.
The good or bad fruit can be materialised at the same time.

The fruit of the karma can instantly occur like lighting a candle.
The candle is your cause, the fruit is the light.

Both cause and effect can happen at the same time.

你的身口意展现于你的言行举止中，因此在任何时候你都在播种好或坏的种子。
好或坏的结果可以在同一时间展现出来。

因果的成熟可以象点燃一根蜡烛般同步发生。
蜡烛是你的因，烛光是你的果。

因果的发生可以在同一瞬间。
