Our life is illusive even though it looks real

Every morning when I wake up after my usual clean up, I would ask “my friend” what breakfast he would like to have. He would replied me. He was with me all along since the beginning of my existence until now for aeons of past lives.

I feel strange that he would not perturb but remain still, even when my emotional body feels happy or sad. He would laugh and hint at me to accumulate more merits and help those who need me. Then my emotional body would learn to be stable in harmony. Nothing is permanence and hence our life is illusive even though it looks real even in our dreams. I still need time to polish up my other bodies as well.

🙂 so there is a ” Being” like that, i had to search a lot to find a person who knows this Being.

he and his soul are inseparable till life.

Calling oneself by a label doesn’t make you into that thing

Contributed by Carol Mickelsen

The name Buddhist or Buddha is just a name, a label we use to help us communicate in this dimension, since we aren’t very telepathic yet.

If a person has never heard those names, but still seeks to have compassion for all sentient beings, and seeks to do right actions and right words and all the rest, and is detached from selfish desire, except to help others, then that person is following a path that leads to “Buddha-hood,” even if the person doesn’t call it that.

Calling oneself by a label doesn’t make you into that thing. Following dogma, rules, traditions and ceremonies, doesn’t make you good, or bad either. It is how you treat others, and yourself, that is the important thing.

The Dalai Lama said that all of Buddhism can be summed up in two sentences: If possible, help others. If that is not possible, then at least do no harm.

That’s my opinion too.

What is within the heart 🙂 everything else just a symbol! Thank you master Chow Cheong King 🙂

Buddhas try to wake all sentient beings from their slumbers and dreams

Where there are sentient beings, there are Buddhas.

The Buddhas have great vows and duties to perform. They realise that all sentient beings have the same buddha nature like them. They try their best selflessly, to wake all these sentient beings from their slumbers and dreams. Are we still in our slumber and dreams?

Yes, I am. I am very grateful to the Buddhas who always have their selfless motivation, unconditional love and compassion.

Master Chow – are you testing me to see how much of my self conceits left or how big my ego ?

I just want you to know all of us are longing to see you.

I try my best to create an happy atmosphere with my Tai Chi class

It is not how many days or years you can live on. It is how well you can spend a day with love filling your heart and happiness sharing with your friends or beloved ones.

Whenever I have a Tai Chi lesson with my students I try my best to create an happy atmosphere with them always.

What Buddha taught is real and practical

Unknown~♡

The teachings of the Buddha are very practical.
The noble eightfold path is not a theory; it is practice.
We have to learn to put the teachings into practice.

Somebody can philosophize about the teachings, can psychologize about the teachings, but what Buddha taught is real and practical.

Very true !
Buddhism is about practical good living, being aware of our deeds and thinking, living in the present moment, and spreading loving kindness.

You know Buddhism so well. Good.

I know little Sir ! I am still learning !

I bow to this forest monk, Ajahn Siripanno

A monk who realises that money is not everything has become a forest monk.
I bow.

Facebook posting from Peaceful Uplifting Monastery on 15Mar2015 :

If you think money is everything what would you say about this young man. He is the only son of Tan Sri Ananda Krishnan (second richest man in Malaysia & Southeast Asia and 89th in the world) and Mom Rachawong Supinda Jakrapan (great-grandchild of the king). He refused opportunity to work with his father to expand his father’s empire (personal fortune more than $11.3 billion (~ RM37.3 billion) and instead chose the life of a simple Theravada Buddhist monk 16 years ago. Until now he’s followed the path of the Buddha with Thai forest meditation tradition.

Have you really sit down quietly to explore the real beautiful world inside us ?

“Wanted to learn” is an human natural instinct. We wanted to know more and intent to explore the whole world, space, ocean and many more. So much understanding had gone into the mind to invent so many objects which are useful and destructive to human race at the same time.

What we had forgotten to explore, the real beautiful world inside of us. How many of us have really sit down quietly to explore into our inner realm deep down in our heart?

Realisation of our inner self takes lots of patience and determination. I think a lot of effort must be devoted to practice, the focus must be there. The realisation will depends on our fate and intelligence.

Cultivate the basics : loving kindness

I love telling people, go back to cultivate the basics : loving kindness.

Only through this way you understand yourself better. You tend to show kindness and love to people who have less and much unfortunate.

Only then can you understand how difficult life can be. You appreciate more on things that you are not deprived of.

Many young children are dead of hunger everyday. Think about that. You should be more grateful and thankful that you are living in this right condition.

Going retreats can not make you a buddha for you are already the one. What you need to do is to discover it.
