I always feel that I am coming back to this world to collect debts or to pay my debts and out of this I learn many lessons for my progress.
Take for an example some children hate their parents and gamble away their money. They use their money for unwholesome means. Yet the parents suffer in sudden.
Whereas some other children treated their parents very well and make sure they have sufficient food and proper lodging. They spend time with their parents and even bring them out for holidays.
Take for another example, some men ill-treated the wives who still love the men a lot and some men try very hard to please their wives and yet their wives still go out to the casino to gamble away their money.
There are many such examples in life. So sometimes we need to bite the bullet should we encounter such incident that has happened to us. Pay your debts and free yourselves.
Do good beget goodness. I am also paying my debts all the while. I told my students that I am coming to this world to pay my debts to them and they all laughed. ( 2 cents joke )

True. Pay debts with detachment. Collect debts with humility and compassion. That is all there is to it. Spiritual progress is another matter, apart from this.
How about the millions you owed me last life Master? May I collect it before I go this life time
You can deduct from the billions you have owed past two life times. I am sure you can recall it.
If we could all remember the past
Along the journey, learning from the process itself and it will lead the way where one supposed to be… All just the process of each moments that one should learn to get into the final destination…
